Benidorm
Benidorm is a city about 20 km north of Alicante. Only 4 decades ago it was called a fisherman's village, now it is a place crowded with high rise buildings, amongst which is the tallest hotel in Europe – hotel Bali.
In Benidorm you will find many English and Irish pubs, bars, clubs and discos (over 200), built to satisfy the needs of crowds of English and Scandinavian tourists.
Benidorm is also a place where you will find biggest fun parks on the Spanish coast:
- Terra Natura, a huge ZOO (320 000m2), with a modern idea of contact with the animals, through the "invisible barriers"
- Terra Mitica – huge fun park for the whole family
- Mundo Mar – ocean ZOO. Many attractions, including dolphin shows through the whole selection of water species.
